Paris Saint-Germain are interested in bringing Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou to Parc des Princes, according to L'Equipe.
The 26-year-old Ivorian international has been heavily linked with a move away from west London in January, and the big-spending Ligue 1 outfit have emerged as favourites for his signature.
Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas is preparing for a striker clear-out when the transfer window reopens in the New Year, with Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba also poised to leave Stamford Bridge.
Villas-Boas will keep faith in £50million misfit Fernando Torres, as well as promoting Daniel Sturridge to a more senior role in the Chelsea side.
Kalou has made only three Barclays Premier League appearances for the Blues this season, and is keen to move on in search of regular first-team football.
L'Equipe reports that PSG officials Claude Makelele [a former Chelsea player and teammate of Kalou's] and Alain Roche, travelled to London to watch this week's UEFA Champions League clash between Chelsea and Valencia, and used the opportunity to speak to Kalou.
And with the African ace's contract set to expire in the summer, it means he could be available to PSG for a cut-price fee in January.
