Bolton manager Owen Coyle does not fear the sack and is determined to continue the fight to drag his side out of the relegation zone.

Wanderers slipped to the bottom of the Barclays Premier League with a home defeat - their 12th of the season - against Aston Villa at the weekend. Results since last April have been poor and although Coyle is, publicly at least, being put under no pressure by the board he accepts the run the club are on is weakening his position.

He told the Bolton News: "I have been long enough in the game to know it's a results business, regardless of what I put in place in the football club and the building bricks for longevity and to move forward. Whatever it is, it is. I have never ran from a fight in my life but if someone felt there was a better solution for the football club, I have no problem with that."
