Manchester United are closing in on a deal that will see Juventus midfielder Milos Krasic join the club in January, it has been claimed.
Krasic is out of favour in Turin under Antonio Conte and is reported to be actively be pursuing a move away from the Juventus Stadium.
According to The Mirror, Juve will allow the £15 million-rated Serbia international to move to Old Trafford on loan next month, with a view to a permanent move in the summer.
Signing the 27-year-old would serve to bolster a United midfield bereft of Darren Fletcher for an extended period and Anderson until February.
Also missing for United is Tom Cleverley and, although predominantly a winger, Krasic can also operate through the centre and would provide United with a much needed extra option.
Chelsea and AC Milan have also been linked with Krasic but, it would appear, the former CSKA Moscow star is headed for Old Trafford during the transfer window.
Meanwhile, United have also been linked with winter swoops for Danielle De Rossi and Jack Rodwell.
