Manchester City and Manchester United have been kept apart in the draw for the knockout phase of the Europa League, but face tough ties in the round of 32.

Following both side's inability to qualifying out of their respective Champions League groups, the Manchester duo have been paired with two sides who also dropped out at the group phase, in reigning Europa League holders FC Porto and Ajax.

If they can win their ties, seemingly routine matches against Leiga Warsaw or Sporting Lisbon for City, and Lokomotiv Moscow or Athletic Bilbao for United, will follow.

Stoke City, who finished second in Group E in their first European campaign for 39 years, take on another side who dropped out of the Champions League in Valencia, who currently lie third in La Liga.

Elsewhere in the last-32, Lazio face Atheletico Madrid, Trabzonspor clash with PSV Eindhoven and Viktoria Plzen take on FC Schalke 04.

The last-32 and last-16 draws in full:

Salzburg v Mentalist Karkiv/Rubin Kazan v Olympiakos

Legia Warsaw v Sporting Lisbon/FC Porto v Manchester City

Steaua Bucharest v FC Twente/Viktoria Plzen v FC Schalke 04

Wisla Krakov v Standard Liege/Hannover 96 v Club Brugge

Stoke City v Valencia/Trabzonspor v PSV Eindhoven

AZ Alkmaar v Anderlecht/Udinese v PAOK

Lazio v Athletico Madrid/Braga v Besiktas

Last-32 ties will take place on February 16th/23rd with the last-16 matches on the 8th/15th March.
