Patrice Evra interrupts Martin Brundle's interview with Stormzy at Abu Dhabi GP

Patrice Evra gatecrashed Brundle's interview with Stormzy

Sunday’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was an absolute cracker.

With Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton entering the final race of the season locked at the top of the standings on 369.5 points, there was always going be drama in the United Arab Emirates

In the end, it was Verstappen who conquered the motorsports world after a remarkable turn of events that saw the Red Bull driver snatching the championship on the final lap.

A late safety car paved the way for Verstappen, equipped with fresher tyres, to snatch the victory when it looked almost certain that Hamilton would win his eighth title.

And it’s fair to say that Verstappen’s triumph was seen first-hand by some of the biggest names in sport and widely culture.

There were plenty of sporting stars and celebrities from around the world in attendance at the Yas Marina Circuit.

Those in attendance included Usain Bolt and musician Stormzy.

As always, Martin Brundle did his grid walk before the race and he managed to grab a word with the latter.

And, just as Stormzy was talking about how he hopes Hamilton comes out on top, former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra came out of nowhere and interrupted the interview.

Grabbing a share of the microphone from Stormzy, Evra shouted his usual trademark: “I love this game!”

He added: “I don’t care” as himself and Stormzy burst out laughing.

Brundle, meanwhile, didn’t quite know how to react and swiftly took the microphone back from Stormzy.

Evra really is a madman, isn’t he?! To be honest, given the character that the Frenchman is, it’s not entirely surprising to see his actions at the Grand Prix.
