Manchester United v Blackburn

Manchester United kick off the New Year's Eve Barclays Premier League action, looking to build upon two impressive consecutive 5-0 victories.

A victory against bottom of the league Blackburn would see them overtake rivals Manchester City at the top, with in form Dimitar Berbatov expected to start up front.

Arsenal v QPR

Arsenal will be looking to bounce back from dropped points against Wolves with a win over Queens Park Rangers in a London derby at the Emirates.

Theo Walcott returns to the squad, and will line up in attack against Robin van Persie, who is just two goals short of equalling the record for league goals scored in a year.

Chelsea v Aston Villa

Chelsea are in action against Aston Villa, with Andre Villas-Boas desperate for his side to pick up a win after three draws in a row have hit their title ambitions.

Swansea v Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur can extend their impressive away record this season with a win at Swansea City, with all eyes set to be on the in form Welsh wonder Gareth Bale.

Bolton v Wolves/Norwich v Fulham/Stoke v Wigan

Elsewhere on New Year's Eve, Bolton face Wolves desperate for a result, while Norwich welcome Fulham and Wigan face a tough trip to Stoke City.

Sunderland v Man City

On New Year's Day, Manchester City are away at Sunderland aiming to maintain their position at the top of the table with three points against Martin O Neill's side.

City failed to score for the first time this season against West Brom last week, and will be keen to find the net with rival United rapidly closing the gap at the top.

West Brom v Everton

Finally on Sunday, Everton travel to West Brom, where Toffees loan signing Landon Donovan will want to make a big impact as he returns to the Barclays Premier League.
