FC Twente forward Luuk De Jong says he would consider a move to the Barclays Premier League, amid reported interest in his signature from Liverpool.

The 21-year-old Dutchman has scored 14 times in 25 appearances for club and country this term and has been frequently linked with a move away from De Grolsch Veste.

According to Goal.com, De Jong is on the radar of Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish and a possible January move to Anfield has been mooted.

De Jong, though, is content with life in Enschede, although has given Liverpool hope of a potential deal in the future.

"I’m still very happy playing for Twente, but every player has dreams," De Jong he told fifa.com.

"Mine is to play in a nice foreign competition one day. And the Premier League is a really nice competition. I don’t have real plans for the future - I’ll see what comes my way."
