Fulham have snapped up Danish teenage sensation Lasse Vigen Christensen after Arsenal passed up the opportunity to sign him reports talkSPORT.

The 17-year-old moves to west London from FC Midjtylland, and will be given time to settle in England as he continues his development with the Cottagers youth and reserve team squad.

Christensen was on trial at Arsenal last year, but Arsene Wenger failed to follow up his interest in the talented youngster, meaning a move to the Emirates Stadium never transpired.

The frugal Frenchman is renowned for nurturing up and coming talent, helping to coach them into world class players - but the Gunners boss will not get that chance with Christensen.

However, Martin Jol has offered Christensen a deal, convincing him to sign for Fulham over FC Copenhagen in his native Denmark.

Capped at U17 international level, Christensen is tipped for a bright future, and will now have a shot at the Barclays Premier League having completed his move to Craven Cottage.
