Liverpool and Arsenal target Moussa Sow looks set to snub the Barclays Premier League and move to Turkey, according to Metro.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is reported to be in search of a top-quality strike partner for Robin van Persie, but Sow’s ineligibility for the Champions League was always a problem.

However, it was thought Sow would be heading for Anfield to solve Kenny Dalglish’s goal shortage after he was quoted waxing lyrical about the Kop.

“I want to play in England. Liverpool, well, that is a dream club. Anyone would be happy, scoring goals in front of the Kop can be the highlight of a career,” he said.

The report has revealed that the Senegal international now looks set to sign for Fenerbache in a deal worth £10million.

Sow is expected to travel to Istanbul some time in the next 48 hours to pen a lucrative deal.

His club Lille have already lined up a replacement and are expected to finalise the transfer of Brest forward Nolan Roux in a similar time frame.

Dalglish’s search for a striker who can bring some goals to Anfield goes on, though available options are beginning to run out.
