Trabzonspor striker Burak Yilmaz has revealed he's interested in a move for Arsenal.
The Turkish hitman has scored 22 goals in 18 games this season, a term which included a campaign in the Champions League.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a move to Ajax, but instead fancies a move to Arsenal, who have yet to register their interest in the Turk.
“I am a Trabzonspor player till the end of the season, if I was to move abroad I would want to move to a big club, I would accept a transfer to Arsenal," he told TRT1.
"Ajax are just one of the teams interested in Burak Yilmaz," his agent went on to confirm.
The Gunners have been linked with numerous strikers in recent weeks, with Lukas Podolski, Matias Suarez and Leandro Damiao all been mentioned as potential targets.
However, with Marouane Chamakh looking unlikely to leave the club in the current window, Arsenal are unlikely to add to their squad.
Arsene Wenger is more likely to add to his defensive resources, given the injuries to Bacary Sagna, Kieran Gibbs and Carl Jenkinson.
Again, Arsenal have been linked with a myriad of names, including Aly Cissokho and Wayne Bridge.
