Dutch ‘wonderkid’ Jeroen Lumu is reportedly interesting Manchester City, according to Voetbal International.


The Etihad Stadium club have made a number of promising youth signings for their Elite Development Squad since the club was taken over.


Lumu has been tipped for great things in Holland and the report suggests the Citizens scout network obviously feel he would be a valuable addition.


The report says Roberto Mancini’s side will have to compete with Serie A leaders Juventus is they want to secure his signing.


The 16-year-old has made a name for himself in recent days after becoming the youngest ever goal-scoring debutant in Dutch football league history.


He came off the bench to bag the equaliser for his club Willem II in their Eerste Divisie clash with FC Eindhoven.


Voetbal International also confirmed that the Holland Under-17 international signed his first professional contract last month, keeping him at the club for the next three years.
