Heerenveen winger Luciano Narsingh says he would 'immediately' join Manchester United, should he be offered the opportunity to sign for the Premier League champions.

Narsingh has been in impressive form this season, and the 21-year-old has scored five times in 19 appearances in the Eredivisie this season.

The Holland under-21 international has been attracting, it has been claimed, and has been linked with a move to Dutch giants Ajax.

Old Trafford has also been touted as a potential destination for the versatile forward, who says he would jump at the chance to join Manchester United if Sir Alex Ferguson came calling.

"Look, if Manchester United call, I would immediately get on the plane," Narsingh told

"I am a footballer who wants to aim higher. But it is not a punishment to play for Heerenveen. I feel good here."

Meanwhile, one youngster to have completed a move to United before the close of the transfer window was Frederic Veseli, who joined the club from Manchester City.

The 19-year-old is a former captain of Switzerland under-17s, and failed to make a senior appearance for Roberto Mancini's side during his time at the Etihad Stadium.
