Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has admitted he is "flattered" to be the favourite to succeed Fabio Capello as England manager.

Redknapp suggested he would consider the role if offered to him, but appeared to rule out managing England and Spurs at the same time.

David Bernstein this morning said the FA were keeping their options open, but did acknowledge their was wide support for Redknapp.

In other news, Kenny Dalglish and Sir Alex Ferguson have played down concerns over Luis Suarez and Patrice Evra ahead of Saturday's clash.


Manchester City are set to rival Liverpool for long term Tottenham target and Spain striker Fernando Llorente. (A Different League)

After missing out on Xherdan Shaqiri to Bayern Munich, Man United could turn their attentions to Spain's Iker Muniain. (Centrocampista)
