Hazard admits to Arsenal lure

Lille star Eden Hazard has revealed he would be interested in joining Arsenal this summer, just days after stating he would be happy to sign for Tottenham.

The 21-year-old winger is one of the most the finest young talents in European football and would seem destined to leave Lille at the end of the season.

Arsenal have been frequently linked with Hazard over the past 18 months, and the Emirates Stadium has always appeared to be a realistic destination for the Belgian.

However, in recent days, Spurs have emerged as frontrunners to sign Hazard although Harry Redknapp is not said to have made a formal approach just yet.

Hazard, for his part, was quick to suggest he signing for Tottenham would be something of interest to him, but Arsenal still appear to hold a lure for the youngster.

"Of course [Arsenal interest me]. It's always more fun when it's beautiful [the football]. In addition, at Arsenal, there is a coach and French players. And Thomas Vermaelen," Hazard told Sport Foot Magazine.

"There are several clubs that interest me in England and Arsenal is really a part."

Hazard has scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 23 league appearances for Lille this season.
