FC Porto v Manchester City

UEFA Europa League

Estadio do Dragao

Thursday, February 16 2012. Kick-off: 2005

Porto are without January signing Marc Janko, who is unavailable for selection due to illness.

Manchester City welcome back midfielder Yaya Toure and defender Kolo Toure after the brothers returned from Africa Cup of Nations duty.

Mario Balotelli is back from suspension but Carlos Tevez will not feature, as he is not registered for the competition.

Milner offers Balotelli advice

Manchester City midfielder James Milner says he has urged Mario Balotelli to curb his ill-discipline as the Premier League leaders begin their Europa League campaign.

City face Portuguese Treble winners Porto at the Estadio do Dragao in the last 32 of the competition this evening, knowing they will be in for a supreme test.

Balotelli could return for to the starting line-up for the first time since his suspension for a petulant stamp on Tottenham's Scott Parker during last month's encounter between the two.

And, says Milner, City can ill afford to be without Balotelli again this season, as the campaign begins to enter the business end.

"I have spoken to Mario - I said: 'Please, we have 13 games to play [in the league] as well as the Europa League – try to have good behaviour on the pitch and think to only play football," Milner told reporters.

"I think if his head will be OK in the next two months, he will be an important player. It's difficult to find a good definition for him.

"We know that Mario is a fantastic player.

"He's young, sometimes he will do some mistakes but for this reason, if he can keep his composure for the next months, he will be an important player for us, in the Europa League and the Premier League."
