Internacional striker Leandro Damiao has confirmed that Tottenham Hotspur are the only club to make a bid for his services.

The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to England in the past, with both Arsenal and Liverpool reportedly coveting the Brazilian international.

French big-spenders Paris St. Germain are also thought to hold an interest in the player, but Damiao claims he’s heard noting of the interest from the Ligue 1 side, with only Spurs showing their hand thus far ahead of a potential summer transfer battle.

"I am not aware of anything for an offer from Paris SG. I have had no contact with PSG or [sporting director] Leonardo," Damiao told Telefoot.

"For now, I think about my club and the Copa Libertadores. In July, if a proposal comes, it will be discussed.

"All that I know is that Tottenham have made an offer."

Arsenal were linked with a move for Damiao just months before the opening of the January transfer window, with the player’s representatives, Sivori & Asociados, claiming the Gunners had already come to the table with an offer. Arsene Wenger never confirmed the claim.

As for Liverpool, they were first linked with a move for the player back in September, and were reported to be going head-to-head with Harry Redknapp for the £22 million-rated forward.

The Reds appear to have taken a back seat however, with Spurs marching ahead in the race for the player. Whether his club will be willing to sell remains a different matter entirely, however.
