Manchester City loanee David Pizarro admits he's enjoying his time at the Etihad Stadium after another impressive cameo display for the club against FC Porto.

The Chilean international came off the bench to score in the 4-0 win at the Etihad Stadium, and also provided an assist as Roberto Mancini's side secured a 6-1 win against the Portuguese giants.

Pizarro, who joined on loan from Roma in the January transfer window, was making only his second appearance for the Premier League leaders, and is relishing his chance to play with City.

"I'm very happy because it was a very important game, so I’m also very happy to score a goal," he told the club's official website.

"There are games when everything goes well, and tonight was one of those games. It went well for me and also for the team."

Pizarro was also quick to pay tribute to his new teammates, revealing he's been made to feel very welcome since the recent switch from Serie 'A'.

The 32-year-old former Inter Milan star also claimed to have picked up the good feeling from fans 'straight away', and hopes he's repaid their support with some good performances against Fulham and now Porto.

"The team has been excellent and have made me feel very welcome into the team. Manchester has also been fantastic for me, so everything is going very well.

"The fans have made me feel very welcome. I got the feeling straight away when I started, and I know also I can contribute to them so both parties are very happy.”
