The Hawthorns; Barclays Premier League; Sat 3rd March, 2012; 1500 KO.

Team News

Jerome Thomas is the latest fitness doubt for the Baggies, joining Paul Scharner as a doubt for this weekend's clash.

Chris Brunt has returned to training after a lengthy lay-off with a foot injury, but Roy Hodgson is unlikely to risk the captain.

Chelsea have concerns over Daniel Sturridge after he suffered a toe injury for England against Holland, whilst Didier Drogba is a doubt with a knee problem.

Jose Bosingwa and John Terry will also miss out for the Blues.

AVB feels Mourinho shadow

Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas admits the shadow of Jose Mourinho still looms large at Stamford Bridge.

'The Special One' enjoyed great success in west London, claiming two league titles during his spell with the club before an acrimonious split with owner Roman Abramovich.

After enjoying major success away from the club, Mourinho's 'house shopping' return to London earlier in the week added to speculation over a possible return, adding more pressure on the already burdened Villas-Boas.

And, ahead of the trip to face the Baggies, AVB admits that everyone wants Mourinho, and his presence in world football is massive - not just at Chelsea.

"The only place where Jose's shadow isn't lurking is Barcelona. It's everywhere else in the world," said Villas-Boas during his pre-match press conference.

"If you can train a manager to be the best in the world, everyone wants him."
