Manchester United target Eden Hazard has a buyout clause of £35 million written into his contract with Lille, it has been claimed.

The 21-year-old playmaker is one of the most highly regarded young talents in European football, and this season with Lille is almost certainly set to be his last.

Manchester United have frequently been linked with Hazard, as have Arsenal and Chelsea, while Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is interested in bringing the Belgian to White Hart Lane.

However, should Sir Alex Ferguson - or anyone else for that matter - decide to make an attempt to bring Hazard to Old Trafford, he would have to break the bank to do so.

According to The Mirror, Hazard has a release clause of £35 million, which will surely be activated by one of the numerous interested parties when the transfer window opens in the summer.

Completing a deal for his signature will undoubtedly be quite a coup indeed for whoever decides to meet Lille's demands.
