Roberto Mancini's future at the Etihad Stadium is in doubt after a poor run of form has seen Manchester City leaders fall 5 points behind title rivals United.

Mancini has spent over £230m on players yet could end the season without any silverware, leading to speculation Jose Mourinho could take charge at City.

Alex McLeish says Aston Villa midfielder Stilian Petrov is in good spirits as he begins treatment after being diagnosed with acute leukemia.

McLeish - along with Aston Villa owner Randy Lerner - was visiting the Bulgaria captain in London, where he is undergoing treatment.

Elsewhere, in Europe tonight, Barcelona face AC Milan at the Camp Nou, while Bayern Munich take a two goal lead into their 2nd leg against Marseille.
