John Terry is set to undergo a scan today after it was revealed the Chelsea captain may have suffered two cracked ribs that has left him struggling to breathe.

The news comes as a blow to Roberto Di Matteo, with his side facing a fixture pileup that sees them playing eight crucial games in the next 26 days.

Elsewhere, Jose Mourinho has said he believes "super-favourites" Barcelona will beat former club Chelsea in the Champions League semi-final.

Also today, Kenny Dalglish says he believes Liverpool can put an end to their poor form - the club's worst run in 59 years - when Villa visit Anfield on Saturday.
