Roberto di Matteo has said he is confident Chelsea can reach the Champions League final ahead of tonight's semi-final second leg clash with Barcelona.

The interim first team coach admitted his side need to score a goal at the Camp Nou if they are to knock the current European champions out of the competition.

Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour has insisted Roberto Mancini will remain as manager even if the club end the season without any silverware.

Elsewhere, financially stricken Scottish club Rangers have been hit with a 12 month transfer embargo by the SFA, with owner Craig Whyte banned for life from Scottish football.
