Frank Lampard has called for Roberto Di Matteo to be appointed as permanent Chelsea manager after guiding an incredible semi-final win at Barcelona last night.

Lampard credited Di Matteo with the spirit and determination that has now seen Chelsea reach both the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League finals this season.

Real Madrid and Munich clash tonight in their semi-final second-leg, with both side determined to reach the final at the Allianz Arena on May 15.

Both sides come into the game with near fully fit squads available, with Jose Mourinho expected to name an unchanged starting XI from last week's first-leg defeat.


In today's transfer news, Stephane M'Bia has admitted he hopes to join Manchester United or Chelsea in the next five years. (Sky Sports)
