Corluka criticises Redknapp rotation policy

Vedran Corluka has blamed Harry Redknapp's selection policy for Tottenham's late slump, and would not be surprised if they finished sixth in the Premier League this season.
The Spurs boss made few changes to his squad throughout the congested Christmas period, and whilst at the time it paid dividends, as the club kept pace with Manchester City and Manchester United at the top of the table, it appears to have taken its toll in the latter part of the campaign.
Tottenham now sit fifth in the table, three points behind Newcastle in fourth, and have several players looking 'really tired.'
Corluka made only three league appearances for the north Londoners this season, before being loaned out to Bayer Leverkusen, whereas ten players have already played over 30 games this season.
Talking about Redknapp's selection policy, the 26 year-old said: "He didn't rotate enough — that's the main problem.
"I watched almost every Spurs game and they played them all with the same 11, 12, 13 players and that's why the players now are really tired. I wouldn't be surprised if they finished sixth."
Tottenham, at one point, found themselves 12 points ahead of rivals Arsenal in third, with Champions League qualification seemingly inevitable.
However, the London club have only won one game in the last nine league matches, and the Croatian international believes it will be difficult and an unsuccessful season if Spurs fail to earn a place in next season's Champions League.
"They are three points behind fourth spot," he said. "They are fifth and it's going to be really difficult for them.
"Three months before they were in the title race challenging City and United. Tottenham, for me, had one of the best teams in England and of course it will be an unsuccessful season if they don't go to the Champions League."
Blackburn, Bolton, Aston Villa and Fulham make up Spurs' remaining fixtures as they look to keep the pressure on Newcastle.
