Arsenal may be forced to move quickly if they want to sign highly-rated midfielder Yann M’Vila as Inter Milan and Bayern Munich have shown an interest.

The Daily Mail have reported that Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has been tracking the combative midfielder for some time, but the Emirates Stadium club were trying to get the suspected price tag of £20million reduced.

However, the north Londoners may be forced to move quickly in negotiations as the report claims stuttering Serie A side Inter and Champions League finalists Bayern have now made their interest known.

The 21-year-old has been gaining a stellar reputation with current club Rennes, where he has been a first team player since he was an 18-year-old.

He made the transition into the France national team last after some mature performances for his club and has now already amassed 18 caps for Les Bleus.

Wenger is reportedly keen on strengthening the centre of midfield and wants to provide support for current incumbent of the defensive position, Alex Song.
