Kevin Davies kept Bolton's survival campaign on track as he struck twice to earn Wanderers a 2-2 draw at Sunderland.

The 35-year-old opened the scoring with a 26th-minute volley and completed it by heading home an equaliser from close range with 20 minutes to go.

Nicklas Bendtner had levelled with his eighth goal of the season nine minutes before the break and James McClean put the home side ahead 10 minutes after it with a fine free-kick.
