West Bromich Albion manager Roy Hodgson has been unveiled as the next England manager by the FA at Wembley this afternoon.

The former Inter and Liverpool boss will take charge of England at the end of the season, and will name his Euro 2012 squad in the coming weeks.

Hodgson, who said he was "honoured" to be succeed Fabio Capello, is set to be in charge of the national side until at least the World Cup 2014.


In today's transfer news, Manchester City are said to be the leading the race to sign Eden Hazard, who is a target for a number of top sides. (Telegraph)

Tottenham and Liverpool could move for Arjen Robben, after the Dutchman cancelled contract talks with Munich after a row with Frank Ribery. (talkSPORT)

And finally, Stephane Sessegnon has played down talk he could move to Arsenal this summer insisting he is happy at Sunderland. (Sky Sports News)
