Liverpool welcome Chelsea to Anfield tonight in the Premier League, with Roberto Di Matteo's side retaining hopes of a top four finish.

The Reds will be looking for revenge after Saturday's FA Cup final, in which Kenny Dalglish's side were narrowly defeated by 2 goals to 1.

After an ineffectual display at Wembley, Dalglish will likely look to make changes to his side, with towering striker Andy Carroll set to start.

Fernando Torres is expected to start in what will be his first return to Anfield since his record breaking £50million move to Chelsea last January.


In today's transfer news, Arsene Wenger is keen to sign Junior Hoillet, who is available on a free transfer from newly relegated Blackburn. (Daily Mail)

Liverpool could reignite their interest in Dutchman Elijero Elia after the Juventus winger made it clear he wants to leave the Serie A champions. (talkSPORT)
