Scottish Football Association chief executive Stewart Regan will seek to discover the full composition of the Charles Green consortium which is set to take over at Rangers.

Former Sheffield United chief executive Green has signed an "irrevocable" contract with administrators Duff and Phelps and majority shareholder Craig Whyte after several weeks of negotiations and due diligence completed largely under the radar.

"I do want him to be up front with us on who is in the consortium," Regan told the Herald. "I think there's an obligation on him to share that with us. I am keen to understand how he plans to run the club, not just the board but the day-to-day management. It's about giving him the chance to share his vision for the club."
