Andre Villas-Boas will consider all the options available to him this summer before making a decision on whether or not he is interested in becoming the next Liverpool manager.

The former Chelsea boss has reportedly been outlined as one of the leading candidates to replace Kenny Dalglish on Merseyside, following the sacking of the latter last week.

According to the Daily Mail, Villas-Boas will be interviewed by Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group this week as they put wheels in motion to bring Dalglish's successor to Anfield.

The 34-year-old, however, is in no rush to accept a position until he is completely satisfied with any potential offer.

"I'm still choosing the right project and that decision will take the necessary time," Villas-Boas said, according to the Daily Mail.

Along with Villas-Boas, Wigan's Roberto Martinez and former England manager Fabio Capello have also been linked with the vacant Liverpool position.

Ajax boss Frank de Boer confirmed on Monday that he had rejected the opportunity to speak to the Reds, while Swansea's Brendan Rodgers did the same last week.
