Chelsea and Manchester City have been linked with a move for CSKA forward Seydou Doumbia, according to

The Ivorian international has been mooted as a possible replacement for his departed international colleague, Didier Drogba, at Stamford Bridge. But the striker's agent insists his client is yet to reach a decision about his future.

The CSKA forward finished the season as the Russian league's top scorer, but the Moscow club missed out on Champions League qualification after a third placed finish.

The player's agent, Jean Bernard Beytrison, said Doumbia welcomes interest from England, Spain or Italy although no official approaches have been made to the Russian club as of yet.

"I know there are Italian and English clubs interested in him, but for now they are just rumours," Beytrison told

"We are waiting for the official steps to be made by some clubs and until then I don't want to say anything. I have not yet spoken about his price with CSKA Moscow."

The Ivory Coast goalscorer is rated around the £26 million mark, and the 24-year-old was Player of the Year in last season's Russian league campaign. Following the departure of Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba, Doumbia could emerge as a summer transfer priority for the Blues, but they are sure to face stiff competition for his signature.
