Arsenal will refuse to sell Robin van Persie this summer, according to reports, even if it means their captain and top scorer leaves on a free transfer next year.

Manchester City and Juventus are keen to sign Van Persie, with the Dutchman considering his future - but Arsenal will not let him speak to other clubs.

Wigan chairman Dave Whelan believes Roberto Martinez has been offered the Liverpool job, while West Bromich Albion are in talks with Claudio Ranieri.

Elsewhere, ahead of his final game as Barcelona manager, Pep Guardiola says he hopes that a club will "seduce him" during his year-long break from football.
