Eden Hazard will fly to London next week to seal a move to the Premier League according to the Daily Mail – but as yet his destination remains unknown.

The Belgian international scored from the penalty spot on Friday night to help his country record a 2-2 draw with Montenegro.

Hazard’s future has been the subject of intense debate this season with a host of Premier League clubs chasing his signature, with Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea leading the way.

It was originally believed only Manchester City or Manchester United were in with a chance of landing the in-demand youngster, however Chelsea’s Champions League win last Saturday gave him another option, he revealed on Sunday.

Now the Daily Mail reports that Hazard will fly into London with his Belgium team-mates ahead of their friendly with England at Wembley next Saturday, and will meet up with his potential future employers to sign on the dotted line. He is expected to announce what club he has signed for in the coming weeks.

The 21-year-old revealed this week he will base his decision on what club can offer him the most amount of game time and play him in his preferred number 10 role rather than out wide.

“I have always dreamed of playing the number 10 role, and wearing that number on my back, and you can see what a difference it makes from how many goals I have scored and set up for others,” he said.

“That will be a consideration when I decide on my club. Where I will play will influence my thinking on who I should join.”

Manchester City may struggle to give Hazard what he wants with plenty of players on their books that can play in the number 10 role, while Manchester United are believed to be perturbed by his £30 million plus price tag.

Chelsea can match the valuation and are in need of more creative payers, but whether the fact they currently have no permanent manager hinders any deal remains to be seen.
