Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry could be ruled out of Euro 2012 today after suffering a groin injury in England's 1-0 victory over Norway on Saturday.

Phil Jagielka could be called up in his place. Glen Johnson and Danny Welbeck are also injury worries, but are expected to be fit for the tournament.

The search for the next Liverpool manager continues, with the club set to hold talks with Brendan Rodgers this week, despite his initial rejection of an approach.

Roberto Martinez is also in contention for the job, after being interviewed by Liverpool's owners last week, and will announce his future tomorrow.


Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has insisted he is happy at Chelsea after revealing he is aware of interest from La Liga champions Real Madrid. (ESPN)

Arsenal target Clint Dempsey has cast doubt on his future on Fulham, admitting he wants to play at "the highest level" in the UEFA Champions League. (Metro)

And finally, Swansea have agreed a £7.2m fee for Hoffenheim midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson, who impressed on loan at the club last season. (The Sun)
