Manchester United are reportedly ready to make a €11million bid for Ajax wonderkid Viktor Fischer.

The 17-year-old Denmark Under-19 international has been attracting quite a bit of attention with his performances this year and Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to bid to bring him to Old Trafford, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Red Devils are close to tying up a deal with Borussia Dortmund playmaker Shinji Kagawa, but are reportedly also keen on adding Fischer to their ranks as future prospect.

However, they will reportedly face competition from some of Europe’s top sides, with both AC Milan and Bayern Munich interested in signing the Ajax youth product.

Some Liverpool fans may already be aware of Fischer’s talents, as he scored a hat-trick in the Dutch side’s 6-0 demolition of the Anfield side in the Next Gen series.

Another Dane at Ajax, Christian Eriksen, has also been linked with United in the past.
