Green: Bright future for Rangers

Charles Green has told Rangers fans the crisis-hit club can be "a force once again" as he urged them to renew their season tickets.

The Glasgow giants posted season ticket renewals for the 2012/13 campaign on Friday despite the ongoing uncertainty surrounding their future. Green is leading the consortium in place to buy Rangers, who have been in the hands of administrators Duff and Phelps since February.

The former Sheffield United chief executive hopes the club can exit administration via a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA), as opposed to a newco route, which would place a question mark over which division the club will play in next term.
