Cristiano Ronaldo insists Portugal can become European champions ahead of tonight's Euro 2012 semi-final clash with current holders Spain.

With Spain certain to dominate possession, Ronaldo will be key to his side's hopes, with Paulo Bento keen to hit Spain on the counter attack.

Vincente Del Bosque meanwhile is expected to continue without a traditional striker, with midfielder Cesc Fabregas set to start.
