Chelsea captain John Terry has denied allegations of a racially aggravated public order offence at the opening day of his trial today.

Terry claims the alleged remarks were a "sarcastic exclamation" in response to what he believed was a "false accusation of racism".

QPR have completed the signing of Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-Sung on a two-year deal, the club have confirmed today.

Brendan Rodgers has revealed he is close to making one or two "really exciting" signings at Liverpool in the coming weeks.
