Robin van Persie returned to Arsenal training on Monday, but speculation surrounding his future as increased further after it emerged the Dutch striker does not feature in the club's online catalogue.

The Arsenal captain his rejoined his teammates for pre-season with his position at the Emirates Stadium still uncertain after his revelation that he would not be extending his contract with the club.

Van Persie's current deal expires in 12 months but has cited a disagreement regarding the future direction of the club as his sole reason for wanting to leave Arsenal.

The 28-year-old is now set for further talks with Arsene Wenger following is return from an extended holiday but, it would seem, the Gunners are planning for life without their leading goalscorer from last season.

Van Persie does not feature in the club's latest online merchandise brochure, reports The Sun, despite his position as Arsenal captain, perhaps serving as an indication that his time at the Emirates Stadium is heading towards an end.
