Real Madrid star Kaka has waxed lyrical about reported Chelsea target Neymar as the youngster continues to be linked with a move to Barcelona.

According to reports in Spain, Barcelona are set to beat Chelsea to Neymar after downpayment was made to Santos by the Camp Nou club, while the Brazilian wants to play alongside Lionel Messi.

Should Neymar become a Barcelona player in 2013 he will, at 21-years-old, be the same age as Kaka was when he left Sao Paulo to forge a career in European football with AC Milan.

Kaka has never looked backed since leaving his homeland nine years ago; winning the Ballon d'Or during his time at the San Siro before leaving Milan for Real Madrid for a fee of €65 million in 2009.

The Brazilian legend has certainly been impressed by Neymar as the 20-year-old continues his rapid rise, and says the young forward is unique.

"He's an amazing footballer and I’m eager to play alongside him. Neymar is a great lad. He's always laughing and playing jokes," Kaka told reporters ahead of Brazil's friendly with Iraq on Thursday.

"He's one of a kind. I'm not going to discover anything new about him as a player."

Kaka is set to make his first appearance for Brazil since the 2010 World Cup and joins a Selecao squad littered with emerging young talents, including Neymar, Lucas Moura and Chelsea duo Oscar and David Luiz.
