Video: Chelsea and United targets lead Brazil masterclass

Manchester United and Chelsea will be pleased the performances of two of their reported targets during Brazil’s thrashing of Iraq yesterday.

Roman Abramovich is reportedly in the race to sign superstar Neymar once he decides to depart current club Santos, while Kaka has been linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks.

Chelsea will also be enthused by the showing of a current Brazilian playing at Stamford Bridge – Oscar got the ball rolling in the rout, scoring the opening two goals in the fist half.

However, Roberto di Matteo would have been wincing at the sight of Brazil ‘keeper Diego Alves punching away a high ball and David Luiz’s chin at the same time, knocking the Chelsea defender out.

Kaka was making his first appearance for the national team in two years, but the prospects of Manchester United signing him appear to be dwindling, as his performances have improved vastly this season and he has become more prominent in the Real Madrid first team under Jose Mourinho.

Neymar would not be upstaged, however, and scored the pick of the night’s goals with a classy curled finish.
