Manchester United have certainly shown this season they have a knack for pulling victory from the jaws of defeat - and that was never more obvious than during their narrow 3-2 victory over Braga in the Champions League last night.

2-0 down inside the first twenty minutes against the Portugese outfit and most Manchester United supporters could be forgiven for voicing their frustrations having seen their side stutter to victory in their opening two European games against Galatasaray and Cluj.

Braga forward Alan proved to be the Red Devils nemesis as he scored twice inside the first twenty minutes to stun Old Trafford and prompt memories of their disastrous European campaign last season.

However an inspired brace for Javier Hernandez and an effort from Jonny Evans in the middle rescued Sir Alex Ferguson's side to ensure they maintain a healthy position atop Group H. Here are the best pictures from an eventful night in Manchester.
