Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly unhappy with the actions of Andre Santos, after the Gunners defender was pictured taking Robin van Persie's shirt at half-time during the weekend defeat to Manchester United.

Gunners supporters were left baffled as Santos asking Van Persie for his Manchester United shirt as the players headed down the Old Trafford tunnel at half-time, with the home side 1-0 up.

Santos had endured a woeful first half as Van Persie put Manchester United into the lead, and was the subject of even more ire when he cosied up to the former Arsenal skipper.

According to The Mirror, Wenger was far from pleased with the Arsenal defender, and questioned him in the dressing room about why he had embarrassed the club in such fashion.

Van Persie left Arsenal for Manchester United in a deal worth £24 million during the summer transfer window after becoming frustrated by Arsenal's lack of ambition.

The 29-year-old striker scored the opening goal in his first meeting with Arsenal since leaving the club, as Manchester United claimed a 2-1 win to go to the top of the Premier League table.
