Cristiano Ronaldo has never been afraid to make a noise about his ability on the pitch – and now he’s drumming up support for his new Nike boots by teaming up with Real Madrid cohort Pepe to create a musical mash up.

Ronaldo has launched a new pair of boots for the American sportswear company called the Mercurial Vapor VIII CRs – and to celebrate the Portuguese star has taken to the music studio to show off his wide array of skills, including drumming, beatboxing and singing.

What Pepe is doing there we’re not quite sure, seeing as the extent of what he achieves in the video is to smile.

According to Nike the black, pink and blue boots, which form part of the ‘CR7 Collection’ gives football fans the chance to see just what the Real Madrid man is like off the pitch.

“Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe take a break from football to focus on a different passion,” reads the statement. “See how they stepped up in the studio.”

The video comes after news that Ronaldo will star in a documentary in order to help him improve his image off the pitch.

The attempts to make the winger appear more humble and graceful were somewhat undermined this week however after he revealed that he would vote for himself as winner of the Ballon D’Or if he could.

If you don’t want to see international football stars making themselves look silly and only want to see his new range of footwear then ignore the video above, and dive straight into the one below.
