Shakhtar Donetsk attacker Willian says he is keen to keep up his recent good form in the hope of earning a move to a new club this season.

The Brazilian has sparkled in the Champions League so far this term, and put two past reigning champions Chelsea earlier this month as well as getting on the scoresheet against Nordsjaelland with a sublime effort.

Both Tottenham and Chelsea have been heavily linked with Willian, with both clubs reportedly making an approach to his Ukrainian club over the summer.

Spurs were said to be close to closing a deal worth around €30 million but failed to reach an agreement over the payment schedule, while Chelsea appeared some way short of Shakhtar’s valuation.

The player himself also revealed that he is still in touch with Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas and declared he had become good friends with the Portuguese coach, who remains keen on taking him to White Hart Lane.

Willian is keen to secure a move in order to bolster his chances of making Brazil’s squad for the 2014 World Cup and the talented attacker has been vocal over his desire to secure a move to one of Europe’s big leagues.

Having impressed suitably in the Champions League so far this season, Willian believes he is producing the goods on the pitch that should lead to a January move.

"I'm very happy with my moment at the club and I intend to keep living this moment," he told Globo Esporte.

"As for a possible transfer, there will be offers for sure and I work so that it happens.

"My club and my representatives will decide my future. I'm focused on helping Shakhtar to keep making history in the Champions League."

Shakhtar are in pole position to qualify for the next stage of the Champions League at Chelsea’s expense, with the Stamford Bridge club going into their last game of the group stages in danger of becoming the first reigning champions to fall at the first hurdle.
