Manchester United rally to ease past QPR

Manchester United proved once more that they don't like to do things the easy way as they came from behind again to beat QPR at Old Trafford yesterday.

With new QPR manager Harry Redknapp watching from the stands, the former Tottenham boss would have been thinking what all the fuss was about as the side he will soon inherit took the lead at the 'theatre of dreams'.

After a low-key first half, Jamie Mackie put QPR in the lead after 52 minutes - a goal which provoked the slumbering giants in to life.

It wasn't pretty for Manchester United who levelled things up after 64 minutes as Jonny Evans hit home from virtually the goal line following Wayne Rooney's corner.

It was another Rooney corner that did the damage once more as Darren Fletcher put the Red Devils into the lead on his first start in over a year, and just four minutes after that Javier Hernandez latched onto the impressive Anderson's through ball to secure three all three points.
