Chelsea transfer target Senad Lulic is happy at Lazio and has no plans to leave the club, according to the player’s agent.

The 26-year-old Bosnian international has been in top form for the Serie ‘A’ outfit since moving to Rome from Young Boys in the summer of 2011, leading to speculation over a move to either the Blues or Juventus.

However, Kevin Fioranelli insists his client is more than happy in the Eternal City, and that the transfer speculation is based purely on unsubstantiated rumours.

"I believe that there is nothing concrete behind these rumours, because Lulic is very settled in Rome and has a great relationship with the coach," Fioranelli told Italian website

Chelsea have been linked with a number of different midfielders - including Marouane Fellaini and Paulinho - this month, although the change in manager at Stamford Bridge could change the club's January thinking.

Rafa Benitez replaced Roberto Di Matteo last week, and it’s unclear how much transfer control the Spaniard will have in west London during his interim period in charge of the club.

EIther way, a move for Lulic now appears unlikely, and Chelsea may have to set their transfer sights elsewhere.
