Anyone with a passing interest in Tottenham’s senior squad and also has an internet connection will know that midfielder Sandro is a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

First there was the video of him performing kung-fu moves around the Tottenham dressing room. Then there was the time he met professional darts player Bobby George, where he learned the true meaning of ‘lovely jubbly’.

This season he’s not only enhanced his reputation as a midfield enhancer under new Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas, but also as a bit of maverick thanks to his random proclamations on Twitter and his use of the hashtag #SandroBeast.

Now the Brazilian has shown even more of his eccentric side in an interview with the Daily Mail as he strummed a couple of songs on the guitar. All fairly sane, right? Well that’s until a few pictures of him holding up a small dog are inter-spliced and the fact he can’t quite remember the lyrics to Coldplay’s ‘the Scientist’.

He does a lovely rendition of Black-Eyed Peas, mind. Enjoy. Click here to see the Spurs man in action!
