Chelsea target Radamel Falcao outlined his goalscoring credentials once again by finding the net five times in Ateltico Madrid's rout of Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday.

Falcao has been frequently linked with a transfer to Chelsea, and speculation about a January move to Stamford Bridge will inevitably increase following the Colombian's latest exploits for Atletico.

Diego Costa opened the scoring for Diego Simeone's side in the encounter at the Vicente Calderon before Falcao took complete control of proceedings; netting each of the next five goals in a 6-0 thrashing.

Falcao is the first player to score five goals in a La Liga match since Fernando Morientes did so for Real Madrid in 2002, and now has 16 goals in 15 league games this season.

The 26-year-old has three more than Cristiano Ronaldo, while Falcao is seven behind top scorer Lionel Messi, who made history of Sunday with his 85th and 86th goals of 2012.

Watch all five of Falcao's goals in the 6-0 win over Deportivo in the video below...
