Football News
Derby manager Paul Jewell has admitted he faces competition from Premier League side Middlesbrough for the signature of Swansea midfielder Ferrie Bodde.

Negotiations between Derby, relegated from the top flight last season, and Swansea have stalled after their £2million bid for the Dutchman was rejected.

Premier League newcomers West Brom have also been linked with the 26-year-old and Jewell told the Swansea Evening Post: "I would imagine there are a few clubs in for Ferrie because he´s a good player."
